Church of St. Lorenzo – Ponderano (Biella)
Year 2008 Client Church of St. Lorenzo Location Ponderano (Biella)
Organ built by Amedeo Ramasco in 1858 and modified by Giuseppe Marzi in 1940, expanding its size by removing reed stops and the original console in favor of one with pneumatic controls and with a second keyboard to control the added parts.
In collaboration with the study center of the popular university of Biella and the Swiss organbuilder Thomas Waelti, it was restored to its original state by removing Marzi’s additions and rebuilding the missing parts in 2008.
